The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is holding the Second Round of Adel Abu Zahra’s Prize Handing Out

Alexandria— the BA is holding the second round of Adel Abu Zahra’s Prize handing out. The prize is five thousand pounds given to civil society organizations serving environment preservation, women empowerment, freedom of expression and dialogue, and artistic creativity.
Dr. Ismail Serageldin, the Director of the Library of Alexandria, stated that Oyoun Misr for Cultural and Social Development Association won the prize for its efforts in promoting dialogue and freedom of expression; Pioneers of Environment won the prize for environment preservation; Society Development Association for Helping Disabled Children; Integrated Care Society for Artistic Creativity. Dr. Serageldin added that these associations presented tangible projects serving the society.
