The 2nd Adel Abou Zahra Award Cycle at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Alexandria, 2 October 2005— The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is organizing the second Adel Abou Zahra Award Cycle and invites Egyptian civil society institutions and organizations to send in nominations for the Award (five thousand Egyptian pounds).
The Award is for institutions and organizations, which within at least three years, have projects that have helped promote or solve challenges faced in the fields of: Environment protection, Women empowerment and rights’ protection, Freedom of expression and Artistic creativity.
Applicants are requested to fill and submit the nomination form available at the Dialogue Forum at the BA (contact details below).
The deadline for sending applications is 30 November 2005.
