The InWEnt Regional Arab Alumni Conference at the BA

The BA, in cooperation with Capacity Building International (InWEnt gGmbH), is organizing the First Arab Regional, Interdisciplinary Conference for the InWEnt Alumni on the subject of “Networking and Innovation”, from 29 October to 1 November 2008 at the BA.
Dr. Salah Soliman, BA Advisor stated that the Conference will offer both technical and country-specific workshops, which provide a good opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge concerning subjects of regional relevance, such as water, energy, media, and women. The Conference will be attended by 200 scholars and participants of InWEnt training courses from the MENA region.
The Conference supports the establishment of regional specialized and interdisciplinary networks and strengthens the means of communication between these networks and the InWEnt program, in addition enhancing cooperation between the alumini networks and the industry sector, scientific institutions, think tanks, civil society and cultural institutions.
