The BA Celebrates the International Peace Day

The BA Institute for Peace Studies, affiliated to the Suzanne Mubarak Women's International Peace Movement is holding a celebration on the International Peace Day, on Sunday, 21 September 2008. Egyptian Actress Yousra, UNDP Goodwill Ambassador will participate in the celebration. The celebration is a call to all peace-loving people to participate and support peace. Participants will all be dressed in white.
It is worth mentioning that the world celebrates on the 21st of September every year the International Peace Day, in accordance with the United Nations Declaration. The United Nations has shown great interest in peace since its foundation in 1945. The United Nations adopted the International Peace Day in 1981, to be celebrated every year to renounce violence and ceasefire in the world.
The celebration will start at 9:00 hrs at the BA Plaza.
