A Partnership Agreement between Alexandria and Fez

The Mayor of the Moroccan City of Fez, accompanied by a delegation of architects, visited the Library of Alexandria, as part of the support of the latter to the New Library of Fez, which is built on a hill in the City of Fez, under the auspices of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The BA had launched a campaign in Egypt to collect books by renowned Egyptian and Arab writers, for the New Library of Fez. Dr. Khaled Azab, Director of the BA Media Department, stated that they collected over a hundred books to date, and that the campaign aims to present 5000 titles to the new Library.
