Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Visits the BA

HE Dr. Mohammad Al-Sabah Al-Salim Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied by a senior delegation, will visit the BA on Monday, 16 June 2008, as a scientific and cultural landmark not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but the entire world.
Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, and Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector, will accompany HE Dr. Mohammad Al-Sabah and the delegation on a tour of the Library. HE Dr. Al-Sabah will view the BA multimedia show (short documentary of the BA), the Internet Archive, Description de l’Egypte, and Gamal Abdel Nasser’s website. He will also visit the Manuscript and Rare Books Museum, the Impressions of Alexandria Exhibition (Mohamed Awad’s Collection), the Antiquities Museum and the CULTURAMA.
