Broadcasting Charles Aznavour’s Concert at the BA

Alexandria— Famous artist Charles Aznavour will perform two concerts in Egypt; the first will take place in Cairo Opera House and the second in Alexandria Opera House, Sayed Darwish Theatre. The BA is going to broadcast the Alexandria Opera House concert on Sunday, 6 January 2008.

Aznavour was born in Paris in 1924. His father was an Armenian cook, who worked for Czar Nicholas II from Georgia, while his mother was the daughter of a Turkish tradesman. Aznavour composed a staggering 740 songs in different languages: English, French, German and Spanish. He toured most countries of the world.

The broadcast will start at 20:00 hrs at the BA Conference Center, Great Hall.
