President of P.E.A.C.E. Inc. Visits the BA

Dr. C.B. Scott Jones, President of Peace & Emergency Action Coalition for Earth (P.E.A.C.E. Inc.) visited the BA on Tuesday, 27 November 2007, as a scientific and cultural landmark not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but in the entire world.
Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector, accompanied Dr. Scott Jones on a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour included the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium. Dr. Jones much admired latest projects of the BA, especially digitization of heritage and access to knowledge.
