A Senior American Delegation Visits the BA

A senior American delegation including Mr. Sol Pelavin, President of the American Institutes for Research, and Ms. Nancy McDonald, Senior Project Specialist, visited the BA today, Wednesday, 17 October 2007, as one of the cultural and scientific landmarks not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but in the entire world.
Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector accompanied the delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour included the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
