Commander-In-Chief of The Southern Indian Fleet Visits the BA

Alexandria— Sunil Damle, Commander-In-Chief of the Southern Indian Fleet and his wife, and Mr. Piero Bronzi, former Economic expert at Ford Foundation visited the BA on Tuesday, 11 September 2007, being a major scientific and cultural complex not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but in the entire world.

Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector, Dr. Sherif Riad, Director of Public Relations Department and Mrs. Sherine Gaafar, Head of Visits Department accompanied the delegation in a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour included the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
