In celebration of the Egyptian Judicial Day, the BA Library Sector is organizing a seminar entitled "Electronic Litigation between Reality and Hope", delivered by Judge Dr. Mounir Al-Saghir, Vice President of the Egyptian Council of State, and Dr. Tamer Elawwa, PhD in Public Law and lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University. The event is held on Sunday, 1 October 2023, at 12:00 pm, in the BACC Lecture Hall.

The seminar will address several topics, including the idea of electronic litigation (remote litigation) and its emergence in conjunction with the information and technology revolution. It will also examine the characteristics and procedures of electronic litigation, together with its advantages, disadvantages and risks. In addition, the seminar will shed light on the difference between electronic litigation and paper litigation, while presenting the current reality of electronic litigation in Egypt with the difficulties and challenges facing it as well as its hoped-for achievements.
