The Egyptian Postal Authority has sponsored the shipment of the first 100 books dedicated by the BA to the Arabic library project in Lithuania . This dedication is part of the BA’s continued effort to support the spreading of Arab culture. The Arabic library in Lithuania will be inaugurated in 2015, and it will be the first Arabic library in the Baltic region in northern Europe. The donated books discuss the many facets of Arab and Egyptian culture. The project hopes to help in building bridges of communication and dialogue between different nations.
The BA’s Memory of Modern Egypt project will host a historic celebration for the Egyptian Postal Authority as an act of appreciation for the Authority’s cooperation with the BA. An exhibition of the rarest stamps and collections owned by the Authority will be held as part of the celebration.
