The “BA’s Cultural Days” Exhibition was held on 3–7 September 2014 at Al-Ittihad Club as part of the celebration of the club’s 100th anniversary, In which the BA participated through the Memory of Modern Egypt Project. The project documented the history of the club since its creation until today, and a souvenir catalogue will be issued of this occasion.
In an effort to enhance the club’s library, the BA gifted them a number of its publications. Moreover, both parties have agreed that the BA should enhance the cultural activities, either through lectures or educational competitions or by encouraging the members of the club to participate in the BA’s activities.
It is also worth mentioning that, in recent years, the BA has carried out a program that chronicles the sports movement in Egypt since the nineteenth century and has obtained a lot of rare photos and documents from several clubs, most notably Al-Ahly Club, Al Zamalek Club, The Olympic Club, Al-Ittihad and others. The BA now also seeks to complete this project that many athletes have donated their archives to, such as Captain Mahmoud El-Khateeb, who has offered the BA a collection of his valuable and rare photos.
