International Day of Mother Earth

The BA Map Library celebrates the International Mother Earth Day on 23 April 2014, in cooperation with the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University; the Institute of Environment Studies and Research; Ain Shams University; the Friends of the Environment Association in Alexandria; the Green Party’s Center for Studies; the Solar Energy Development Association (SEDA); Karakeeb Project; and Aqua-Pure for Purification and Treatment of Drinking Water.
In the framework of the celebration, a competition around issues that threaten Earth will be held.

The celebration includes presentations, workshops and a variety of activities for university students, teachers and the general public interested in environment and the Earth. An exhibition of maps, books and relevant devices, and a display of the posters will also take place.
The event is held at 3:00 pm at the BACC Lectures Hall.
