Honoring Alexandrian Winners of State Awards

The BA holds on Monday, 23 September 2013, a celebration honoring Alexandrian winners of the 2013 State Awards.
This years, 4 prominent personalities from Alexandria have exceptionally received the state awards, namely: Dr. Moustafa El-Abady who received the Nile Award, the highest state award, in Social Sciences; Writer Said Salem who received the State Order of Merit in Literature; Writer Ragab Saad El-Sayed, who received the State Incentive Award in Translation; and Dr. Mofreh Karim who received the State Incentive Award for his poetry collection Astar El-Bahr (Sea Curtains).
The Ceremony is held at 6:00 pm at the BACC Small Theater.
