Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the entire Library staff sincerely congratulate H.E. Dr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, on receiving the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun, which His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan has bestowed on him in recognition of his distinguished contributions to strengthening Arab-Japanese relations.
This high honor is the culmination of a diplomatic career of generosity and achievement and a confirmation of H.E.’s distinguished position in the Arab and international arenas.
