President of the League of Islamic Universities in a Tour of the BA

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, President of the League of Islamic Universities, accompanied by a delegation of senior guests, paid a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina yesterday, 15 May 2024. The visit was on the sidelines of an international conference entitled “The Role of Universities in Building Bridges of Understanding and Peace between the East and West”, organized by Alexandria University, in collaboration with the League of Islamic Universities, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Alamein University.
Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, accompanied the guests on a tour of the Library, as Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa praised the institution’s pioneering role in the dissemination of culture, arts, and sciences.
At the end of the tour, Dr. Ahmed Zayed presented his guests with a collection of the most significant publications of the Manuscripts Center.
