"Technologies of Ancient Greek Metrology" in a Lecture at the BA

Within the framework of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s celebration of the Day of the Mediterranean, the BA Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies, in cooperation with the BA Planetarium Science Center and the Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum (NOESIS) in Greece, and under the auspices of the Secretariat for Greeks Abroad (Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs), organizes a lecture entitled "Technologies of Ancient Greek Metrology." The lecture is delivered by Dr. Sobhy Ashour, Professor of Greco-Roman Art and Archaeology, Helwan University, and takes place on Thursday, 30 December 2021, at 2:00 pm, in the Auditorium Hall, BA Main Entrance.
The lecture is open to the public until the maximum number of hall capacity is reached.
