The BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program (WSST), in cooperation with the National Council for Women (Alexandria branch), organizes a seminar entitled “Supporting Women out of Crisis” on Tuesday, 26 October 2021, at 1:00 pm, in the BACC Delegates Hall.
The seminar aims to raise the awareness of Egyptian women about the ways of handling family and pedagogical problems that might affect their mental health, in addition to exploring the methods of prevention when dealing with these types of issues.
The Women Studies and Social Transformation Program (WSST) is presenting a research paper that provides an evaluation and analysis of the status of Egyptian women amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the impact of this crisis on their social and economic situation. The paper also highlights the procedures taken by the Egyptian government since the onset of the pandemic, with regard to supporting and empowering Egyptian girls and women.
A group of specialists in women’s issues in Egypt, together with a large number of Egyptian girls and women of different age groups and from various cultural backgrounds, are expected to take part in the event.
