A Discussion of the Novel Bogart… Play Me a Classical Tune at Sinnari House

The BA Sinnari House and Manuscripts Center organize a seminar to discuss the novel Bogart… Eazf Li Lahnan (Bogart… Play Me a Classical Tune) by young Egyptian Writer Jilane Salah, on Thursday, 3 June 2021, at 6:00 pm. The event is free and open for public. It will be moderated by Writer and Blogger Sayed Abdel Hamid.
Jilane Salah Salman is an Egyptian writer, translator, and poet, who garnered numerous literary awards for her short story collection Hakaza Takalamt La Lopa (That’s How La Lopa Talked). Her novel Bogart… Eazf Li Lahnan (Bogart… Play Me a Classical Tune) won the second place in the Central Literary Competition organized by the General Organization for Cultural Palaces in 2017, and has recently been selected among 32 books as part of the “Arab Voices” Project. She has published critical essays, short stories, poems, and translations in several electronic and paper publications.
