Nelson Island Archaeological Findings at the Antiquities Museum

The BA Antiquities Museum displays archaeological findings discovered by the Italian mission in Nelson Island, Abu Qir, Alexandria. This new collection includes 200 exquisitely displayed utensils made out of pottery and faience, dating back to the Pharaonic and Ptolemaic eras.
With the addition of this new extension, the Antiquities Museum currently comprises eight sections depicting the history of Egypt: Ancient Egyptian Antiquities, Greco-Roman Antiquities, Byzantine Antiquities, Islamic Antiquities, In the Afterlife, Excavations of the BA Site, in addition to the two extensions “Egypt’s Treasures through the Ages” and “Archaeological Findings from Nelson Island”.
