Contemporary Dance Workshop in Cairo

The BA Arts Center, in partnership with the British Council in Agouza, Cairo, holds a two-day contemporary dance workshop for amateurs in the framework of the contemporary dance action “Dance Like an Egyptian” (Raqs 3a Tayer) on 16 and 17 December 2012, at the British Council Agouza premises.
The workshop is run by several professional dancers offering participants a diversity of contemporary dance approaches.

Deadline is 14 December 2012.
The workshop will be concluded by the screening of the film directed by the French Filmmaker Blandine Delcroix who documented the action Raqs 3a Tayer during 10 months. An interactive talk with the participating dancers will follow the screening. The closing event is open to public.
