“Smart Grid: The Future Power System” Lecture

As a part of the Visiting Scholar Program (VSP), the BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) organizes a lecture entitled “Smart Grid: The Future Power System” on Thursday, 20 December 2012, by Professor Mohamed A. El-Sharkawi, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, USA.
The Lecture will shed light on the primary role of the existing power grids by providing the vital links between the producers of the electric energy and the consumers. It will also discuss the application, and future development of this technology and its impact on society.
