The Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture Organizes a Training Workshop on “Underwater Cultural Heritage”

The Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture organizes a training workshop on Underwater Cultural Heritage, under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Commission, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Antiquities, the Library of Alexandria, and Alexandria University, during the period from 2 to 6 November 2019. A press conference and a certificate award ceremony will be held at the BA on 7 November 2019.
Participants must be working in the field of underwater archeology in any governmental authority and must not be older than 54 years old. Candidates must be fluent in English and must have the ability to swim. They also have to be available during the workshop days.
The workshop is free of charge.
Accommodation will be provided for participants from outside Alexandria.
