New Educational Courses at the BA Writing and Scripts Center

The BA Writing and Scripts Center organizes a number of courses, as part of its educational program which is held for the sixteenth consecutive year, and attracts inspectors, museum curators, post-graduate students and tour guides.
This year’s program includes an Arabic calligraphy course, which will be given by Mr. Mohamed El-Maghraby, Former Principal of Mohamed Ibrahim School for Arabic Calligraphy in Alexandria. The course runs from Thursday, 31 October 2019 to Thursday, 5 December 2019, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Main Entrance.
The program also includes a course on Demotic scripts, delivered by Dr. Sarah Nabil, Associate Professor of Ancient Egyptian Language at the Department of Archaeology, Ain Shams University. The course runs from Thursday, 24 October 2019 to Thursday, 12 December 2019, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Additionally, a new Hieroglyphics course will be delivered by Dr. Ahmed Hamdy Abdel Moneim, Associate Professor of the History and Archaeology of Egypt and the Near East at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. The course runs from Sunday, 20 October 2019 to Wednesday, 20 November 2019, on Sundays and Wednesdays, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
