The BA Organizes “Africa Talks Education" Conference

The BA Library Sector organizes a conference entitled “Africa Talks Education: For a Better Tomorrow”, on Tuesday, 24 September 2019, in the BACC Small Theater. The conference comes as part of the BA scientific and cultural events that aim to support national development and sustain the country’s tendencies of prioritizing education and strengthening its relationship with Africa.
The conference tackles the challenges facing higher education in Africa, and the strenuous efforts which are made to foster education in different African countries. It will also highlight the vital role of non-formal education presented by libraries and other information institutions.
A number of prominent African experts in education will take part in the conference, in addition to several specialized international organizations including the UNESCO, Senghor University, Université française d’Égypte, Vaal University of Technology in South Africa, Tunis University, and the Center of Entrepreneurship at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. The conference will also witness the participation of “Study in Egypt” initiative, which was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education as of May 2019.
