Amr Hamzawy Speaks in the International Day of Democracy

As part of the BA Depository Library (DL) ongoing efforts of raising public awareness, the DL and the Alexandria International Model United Nations (AIMUN) 2012, celebrate the United Nations’ International Day of Democracy 2012 with a lecture by Dr. Amr Hamzawy, former member of the Egyptian Parliament, on Saturday, 8 September 2012.
The UN International Day of Democracy is held annually on 15 September to raise public awareness about democracy. This year’s theme is Democracy Education.
The Lecture is held at 4:00 pm at the BACC Great Hall.
Admission is by invitation only. Invitations will be available at the BACC Reference Desk (Conference Center entrance) and the DL Reference Desk (F2 level) from Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6 September 2012, from 10 am to 12 noon.
