Serageldin Speaks About Strengthening Collaborations in Research and Innovation

At the European Research Council (ERC), Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, gave a speech entitled “Enhancing Regional Collaborations in Research and Innovation– The Way Forward”.
Serageldin addressed the topic from the Mediterranean countries perspective, while his co-speaker Eduard Brezin, Former President of the French Academy of Sciences, spoke from the EU countries perspective.
Established in 2007, the mission of the ERC is to support, through competitive funding, pioneering research in the fields of science, engineering and social sciences and humanities.
