Institut du Monde Arabe Book Collection Online

In partnership with the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, the BA digitized the Institute’s collection of books and made them available for the public online.
The project provides a digital library of around 1700 books in different fields to preserve this very rich collection to the future generation. Using the BA digital expertise, the texts were scanned and made available to the public online in a user-friendly interface.
The project also serves researchers around the world and complements the efforts exerted to narrow the gap between the Arab and European cultures and introduce the Arab culture in a digital form to Europe.
