“World Day for Safety and Health at Work” at the BA

Under the patronage of Dr. Osama El-Fouly, Governor of Alexandria, the BA holds on Saturday, 28 April 2012, the “World Day for Safety and Health at Work”, entitled “Make Safety your Life Style”, in cooperation with the Arab Association for Health and Safety Experts and Professionals (ARAB QOSH Society).
The event tackles different themes, including: fostering the culture of safety and safe behavior, food safety, safe disposal of electronics waste, reducing car accidents, and new safety regulations.
The World Day for Safety and Health at Work on the 28 April aims to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally. It is an awareness-raising campaign intended to focus international attention on emerging trends in the field of occupational safety and health and on the magnitude of work-related injuries, diseases and fatalities worldwide.
