A Statement from the BA Concerning the Library of Hassan Kami

The BA has issued a statement concerning the library of late Artist Hassan Kami, confirming that Dr. Khaled Azab, Head of the Central Projects and Services Sector at the BA, representing Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, has signed a “promise of sale” agreement with the heirs of Mr. Kami. Under this agreement, the BA will receive the collection of Al-Mustashreq Library, after it passes on to the inheritors. The two parties agreed on making a list of the contents of the library, and deciding what to donate or sell to the BA.
It is worth mentioning that the library of late Artist Hassan Kami includes thousands of books, valuable paintings and rare manuscripts.
