The BA Antiquities Museum in the Prestigious Nile Magazine

Dr. Hussein Bassir, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Antiquities Museum (BAAM), has recently published an article on the Museum’s artefacts in the 17th issue of the prestigious Nile Magazine. The article is entitled “Masterpieces from the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Antiquities Museum”, and explores some of Dr. Bassir’s favorite pieces from the Museum collection from ancient and Greco-Roman Egypt.

Dr. Hussein Bassir is the Director of the Antiquities Museum and Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. He was formerly the Director-General of the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization at Fustat that is affiliated to the Ministry of Antiquities.
