The BA Embassies of Knowledge at Egyptian universities organize a number of workshops that aim to strengthen cultural exchange between Egypt and countries around the world. Participants travel around the world in virtual tours to learn about the history, cultures and languages of various countries, making use of the enormous amount of information available at the Embassies of Knowledge such as electronic books, databases, etc.
These workshops aim to consolidate the skills of young people through the participation of volunteers from the different departments of the Faculty of Arts, in order to provide them with the skills of writing research papers and delivering presentations.
The first stop of these tours was China, where participants knew about the principles of the Chinese language and the ways of living in Chinese society. The workshop also included a display of the most important natural and human resources, together with the tourist sights and cultural landmarks of this ancient country.
These tours are set to continue in different parts of the world, with the aim of elevating the scientific, cultural and linguistic skills of students, and encouraging them to gain more knowledge in all aspects of life.
