The Geology of the Nile Basin Countries (GNBCC) Conference

The BA, in cooperation with the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University holds the Geology of the Nile Basin Countries Conference (GNBCC) from 20 to 22 March 2012.
GNBCC aims at developing scientific and educational cooperation between the Nile Basin Countries in geological sciences. It is a forum to promote cooperation and expertise exchange among African scientists.
Dr. Khaled Ouda, Professor of Geology, Assuit University, will give a keynote speech discussing climate change impacts on the Egyptian coast, and Dr. Meghawry S. Diab, will give a speech entitled “The Nile Water Crisis: Analysis of the Problem and Proposed Solutions”.
