Alexandria Youth Parliament

The BA Youth Activities Unit hosts “Alexandria Youth Parliament” project, held by Adwar Initiative.
The Parliament aims at increasing youth participation in the public sphere, as part of youth empowerment mission.
It also aspires to spread the culture of dialogue, promote youth participation and involvement, put them in the decision makers’ position, and build a network of youth activists for coordination and effort combination.
Alexandria Youth Parliament Opening Session is held on Tuesday, 6 March 2012 at 5:00 pm, BACC Great Hall. It will host Poet Sayed Hegab who will recite patriotic songs, and Dr. Amr El-Shobky who moderates a session on the post-revolution parliament.
Preparations, team training and participants selection are held in April. Sessions will take place in May.
