The BA at the Cairo International Book Fair

The BA participated at the forty third round of the Cairo International Book Fair, held in Madinet Nasr (Nasr City), Cairo, from 22 January to 7 February 2012.
At its pavilion, the BA displays its most recent publications in different languages and screens documentaries produced by the BA Studio.
The BA also participates in the Fair cultural program. The first BA event is held on Saturday, 4 February 2012 launching a campaign to support the Library of Ashurbanipal in Iraq.
On Sunday, 5 February, and in cooperation with the Egyptian Book Authority, the BA holds a seminar on Re-issuing the Classics of the Islamic Heritage in the 19th and 20th centuries (13th and 14th Hijri centuries) Project and the “Islamic Reform Thought” series .
A seminar on the “Memory of Modern Egypt” Project, documenting the history of Egypt since the reign of Mohamed Ali, is also held on Monday, 6 February 2012 as part of the BA cultural activities on the fringe lines of the Book Fair.
