The Fop Corrected in a Play Reading

The Reference Services Unit is holding its monthly play reading in Arabic on Wednesday, 1 January 2012. Participants will read The Fop Corrected by Marivaux.
The marquis Rosimond arrives from Paris to marry a naive village girl, Hortense. He thinks that she must be very happy to marry him--being one of the most eligible bachelors desired by all beautiful women of Paris. However, Hortense is shocked from his impertinent manners and decides not to marry such a dandy until she makes sure that he has been corrected.
The session starts at 13:00 hrs. at the BA Arts and Multimedia Library. Participants should register their names at the General Information Desk at the Library entrance.
