“I’m a Technician. I’ll Build My Country” Event Closing

The BA Depository Library hosted “I’m a Technician. I’ll Build my Country” event, as part of Step Up Youth Initiative Entrepreneurship Program.
This Project is one of the pilot projects targeting technician students to promote entrepreneurship, help them start their own business and involve them in the development of their country.
Participants included technical schools’ students, representing 70% of the participants, and students from the Faculty of Engineering who have graduated from technical schools, representing 30%.
“I’m a Technician. I’ll Build my Country” consisted of academic lectures, workshops, and field trips. Participants were divided into teams, each working on a project.
The Closing Ceremony was held on 17 October 2011, at the BACC.
