Royal Gods and Divine Kings in Hellenistic Poetry

As part of the Seventh Cultural Season of the Alexandria Project that aims to introduce the history and civilization of Ancient Alexandria as a cultural and civilizational beacon, the Innovation, Research and Technology Department at the BA organizes a lecture entitled “Royal Gods and Divine Kings in Hellenistic Poetry”. The lecture takes place on Wednesday, 10 October 2018, at 2:30 pm in the Auditorium Hall.
The lecture will be given by Professor Ivana Petrovic, Hugh H. Obear Professor of Classics, at the Department of Classics, University of Virginia, USA, and will be moderated by Prof. Magda El Nowieemy, Professor of Latin Literature at the Graeco-Roman Archaeology Department, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University.
The lecture will be delivered in English with simultaneous Arabic interpretation.
