BA to Launch Joint Cultural Projects with Iraq

Dr. Mostafa El Feki, Director of the BA, has stated that the BA is striving to launch several joint projects with a number of Iraqi universities and cultural institutions in the near future. He affirmed that the BA has already begun working on digitizing the Journal of the Iraq Academy, after acquiring the necessary approval to do so, for this journal is considered one of the most significant cultural and Arabic publications, and it affirms the rootedness and authenticity of Iraq and its cultural and scientific achievement.
Dr. El Feki is expected to announce a number of other cultural projects in the presence of Iraq's ambassador to Egypt, Dr. Habib Hadi Al-Sadr. He will also announce the launch of another phase of the periodical campaign, led by the BA, dedicated to revive the historic Royal Library of Ashurbanipal, which is affiliated with the University of Mosul, as the BA will provide the Library of Ashurbanipal with 2,000 and donate 10,000 books to a number of other international parties and institutions.
The details will be announced during a press conference, set to be held on Sunday, 2 September 2018 at the Egyptian Diplomatic Club in Cairo at 7:00 pm.
