Arabic Language Technology International Conference

The BA hosts on 9 and 10 October 2011 the Third Arabic Language Technology International Conference (ALTIC), bringing together researchers, engineers, linguists, and practitioners interested in the technological advances and business applications of Arabic language.
ALTIC has seven main tracks, covering different aspects of human language technologies with emphasis on Arabic language; namely: Text Processing, Text Mining, Speech Processing, Machine Translation, Information Retrieval (IR), Optical Character Recognition, and Education and Special Needs.
ALTIC is organized by the Arabic Language Technology Center (ALTEC) which is an Egyptian non-profit Organization aiming at promoting applications of Human Language Technologies and strengthening the relation between academia and industry in this area nationally and internationally.
