The BA witnessed on 17 and 18 September 2011 the proceedings of “Interact with Today’s World 2011” Conference (ITW ’11), organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Alex Student Branch, in cooperation with the BA International School of Information Science (ISIS).
This year’s theme was bridging the gap between young engineers and the industry by providing them with the latest technologies and preparing them to face the challenges of the labor market. ITW ’11 also included technical and non-technical lectures, attended by around 600 participants, mainly from different Faculty of Engineering departments.
The first ITW annual conference was organized in 2005 and has been held annually since 2008.
IEEE is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide young engineers with the needed skills to face the market. Alexandria Student Branch was launched in 2001.
