Model of Security Council at the Young People’s Library

The BA Young People’s Library, in collaboration with Step Up Youth Initiative, holds Alexandria Model of Security Council (AlexMSC 2011) from 11 August to 22 September 2011, with 100 participants aged 12 to 15.
Simulation models are widely regarded as one of the most influential and effective informal education tools that enable participants to acquire several skills and values.
This is the first model to target this specific age group in an aim to put them in the same position of decision makers, educate them by experiment, and raise their political awareness regarding several issues.
AlexMSC 2011 is held on the occasion of the International Youth Day on 12 August.
