Idris Tawfiq Speaks about Muslims in the West

The BA Futuristic Studies Unit host on Tuesday, 5 July 2011, the British Muslim Scholar Dr. Idris Tawfiq in a lecture entitled “Lessons Drawn from Muslims in the West”.
The lecture discusses the conditions of Muslims in Western countries and attempts to draw some lessons from their experiences.
Tawfiq holds a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Manchester, and a degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. For many years, he was Head of Religious Studies in different schools in England and Wales and has an extensive teaching experience both in the UK and Egypt.
Held in the BACC Small Theater at 6:00 pm, the lecture is given in English accompanied by simultaneous translation into Arabic, and is open for public.
