The Turkish Success Story in the first series of “Nations’ Progress” Program

The BA Dialogue Forum, in cooperation with “Alexandria 2020 Project”, holds on Wednesday, 29 June 2011, a conference entitled “Turkey: A Journey of Renaissance”, as part of the “Nations’ Progress” Program. The Program is a series of monthly meetings presenting countries’ success stories to make use of their experiences in post-Revolution Egypt.
The first conference tackles the Turkish experience, which is similar to the Egyptian one, highlighting Turkey’s significant regional role. It discusses development and economic policies in Turkey. A photographic exhibition entitled “Turkey in Egyptian Eyes” is also held on the fringe lines of the conference.
The conference will be inaugurated by Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector, and Sameh Latfo, Turkish Consul in Alexandria.
The event starts at 4:00 pm at the BACC Lectures Hall, and is open for public.
