The BA Children’s Library and Young People’s (YP) Library are organizing a number of diverse activities to be held during this year’s summer vacation, starting from June 2017.
The activities of the Children’s Library will cater for 6–11 year old children and will include various cultural, artistic, scientific, and entertaining activities that suit different ages and interests.
Its program will include awareness lectures for children on various topics, such as dental hygiene, skin and hair care, healthy eating, and first aid. Lectures targeting parents will also be included in the program.
The Children’s Library strongly believes in the vitality of developing the skills of younger generations. Thus, it enriched its program with several activities focusing on developing a variety of skills, such as photography, short story writing, drawing, cooking, etiquette, agriculture, sewing, and computer skills. Some programs will also focus on developing acting, singing, and poetry reading skills, which will be practiced for the closing ceremony of the summer program.
The YP Library offers a variety of activities, programs, competitions, lectures, and field trips that suit the different interests of its 12–16 year old visitors and members. The offered program of activities include art workshops, writing workshops, various awareness lectures, poetry competitions, painting and photography competitions, and scientific workshops.
