In the context of its participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, the Secretary-General of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL–Kuwait), Engineer Ali Hussein Al-Youha, donated the council’s publications to the BA. Saad Al-Enezi, General-Manager of the Kuwait International Book Fair, presented the latest NCCAL publications—including volumes of the Aalam Almarifah (The World of Knowledge) and Aalam Elfikr (The World of Intellect) series as well as other international works—to Dr. Khaled Azab, Head of the BA Central Projects and Services Sector.
It is worth mentioning that the Kuwait International Book Fair hosts the BA each year within the context of its cultural events. The BA has also offered several of its publications to the National Library of Kuwait, and it hosted the NCCAL as the guest of honor in the 2004 BA International Book Fair. The BA and the NCCAL are expected to cooperate more in the near future in a number of cultural, literary, and intellectual fields.
