Theater Lighting Workshop: Call for Participation

The BA Arts Center, in collaboration with the Jesuits Cultural Center in Alexandria, is announcing a call for participation in its Theater Lighting Workshop for stage directors and lighting designers. The workshop will be led by lighting designer Saad Samir. It will include an explanation of the development of stage lighting, the different lighting equipment, how to use them, practical training on creating dramatic effect, stage lighting design, and how to use colors…etc.
The workshop will be held from 20 to 30 March 2016 at the BA and the Jesuits Cultural Center in Alexandria from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. The workshop is open to all participants ages 18 and above.
Registration fees: 40 L.E.
To participate, please send the completed application form to saeed.kabeel@bibalex.org no later than Thursday, 10 March 2016. Accepted candidates will be notified via e-mail or a phone call during 12–17 March 2016.
