The Arabic Language Academy Donates its Publications to the BA

The Arabic Language Academy has donated its publications to the BA in a collaborative effort between both institutions and in response to a request from the BA to obtain the Academy’s publications, including dictionaries, linguistic resources, and issues of the Academy’s magazine.
Among the donated publications was the Dictionary of Medical Terms and the Mathematics Dictionary, which will serve as a basis for conducting advanced Arabic scientific research in the field of mathematics. The Physical Education Dictionary, which includes terms related to the field and seeks to stress the scientific and academic value of specialized educational sciences.
The donation also includes the Entomology Dictionary, one of the most important resources for scientists, researches, and students of science and knowledge everywhere. In addition to that, the Dictionary of Computer Terms, which was put together by a specialized committee, was also donated.
All of the volumes of the semantics and stylistics dictionary, which encompasses all the semantics used in colloquial Arabic in newspapers and stories, were also included in the donation along with the book titled The Origins of the Language which contains the writings of the committee concerned with the origins of the Arabic language and the decisions made by the Academy concerning those origins and their general functions.
