Thunder Storm Hits Alexandria with Catastrophic Effects on the City

The Library of Alexandria remains intact and safe despite the heavy rains and thunder storm. It is business as usual in the BA.
The Library continues to receive visitors in its main Reading Area, exhibitions, and museums. All the Library collections, equipment, and furniture remain intact, and we are currently handling a few minor leakages and will be restoring everything in a matter of hours.
